Overview
InjectionDesign prepares acquisition sequences and plate layouts from sample metadata. It combines inter-batch balancing, within-batch randomization and predefined QC placement before LC/GC-MS measurements.
What can this tool do?
Common uses
- Randomize and balance study samples across analytical batches.
- Place pooled, blank, solvent, reference, and custom QC samples within an injection sequence.

Scope and considerations
Designed for
- Prospective injection-order design and QC placement before LC-MS or GC-MS acquisition.
Not designed for
- Correcting instrument drift or batch effects after acquisition, or replacing experimental design review.
Important requirements
- A sample Excel sheet using the provided template, grouping variables and desired plate/QC settings. Local deployment uses Java, MongoDB and Redis; the hosted route uses a browser.
Considerations
- Balance and randomization dimensions must reflect the scientific design; inspect the exported sequence and QC spacing before acquisition.
