Overview
Lipid Mini-On uses the Rodin R package to group lipid names by classes and chain properties, perform enrichment tests and visualize lipid-to-term relationships. Current repository instructions describe local execution.
What can this tool do?
Common uses
- Compare a lipid query set against its measured background.
- Explore lipid classes and chain properties associated with a selected set.

Scope and considerations
Designed for
- Ontology enrichment of lipid name lists.
Not designed for
- Raw MS data processing or direct metabolic-flux inference.
Important requirements
- Query and universe lipid lists in the documented CSV layout, plus local R dependencies.
Considerations
- Background selection and name parsing affect enrichment; inspect assignments before interpreting terms.
Access and documentation
Local browser interface served by R/Shiny. The current README requires R 4.x, RStudio, Rodin and listed R dependencies; do not assume the historical hosted endpoint remains available.
