Overview
MobiLipid provides R Markdown workflows and a labeled-lipid reference library for CCS quality control in ion-mobility MS lipidomics. It estimates bias and class/adduct-specific correction functions. Correction functions are fitted by linear regression.
What can this tool do?

Scope and considerations
Designed for
- Internal-standard-based CCS assessment and correction.
Not designed for
- Raw spectrum processing, lipid identification or metabolic flux estimation.
Important requirements
- Ion-mobility measurements of samples spiked with uniformly 13C-labeled lipid standards.
- R/RStudio and documented dependencies; correction needs at least three standards per supported class/adduct combination.
Considerations
- Vendor-required instrument calibration remains necessary.
- Correction scope depends on represented lipid classes and adducts; do not extrapolate validation to all lipids.
