Scope and considerations

Designed for

  • MRMQuant provides a MATLAB graphical interface for MRM peak integration, calibration-based quantification and manual review of targeted measurements.

Not designed for

  • Untargeted structure discovery from arbitrary MS/MS data.

Important requirements

  • MRM measurements and target precursor/product m/z, retention times and tolerances.
  • Known-concentration standards for absolute quantification; suitable controls for optional correction.

Considerations

  • Review integration, coelution and calibration fits; automated results do not replace assay validation.

Access and documentation

Source and distributions are publicly available. An explicit software license was not identified in the reviewed repository; the paper describes the tool as open source, but reuse terms should be confirmed.
