Overview
FNICM propagates seed-node scores through a directed network, builds a ranked subnetwork and identifies core nodes using controllability analysis.
What can this tool do?

Scope and considerations
Designed for
- FNICM propagates seed-node scores through a directed network, builds a ranked subnetwork and identifies core nodes using controllability analysis.
Not designed for
- Raw MS processing, molecular identification or demonstrated causal metabolite control.
Important requirements
- Windows executable; a directed global network and seed scores aligned to its nodes.
- Choose the number of top-ranked nodes used to form the subnetwork.
Considerations
- Seed selection, network completeness and the chosen subnetwork size affect prioritization.
- Undetected nodes can be prioritized by propagation; this does not establish that they were measured in the experiment.
- Only a Windows executable was identified in the repository; it was not downloaded or run.
Access and documentation
LICENSE and LICENSE.md state AFL-3.0, but the README restricts use to research and asks commercial users to contact the author. Resolve these conflicting terms before reuse; no unrestricted open-source claim is made.
